Road trip

I recently had a short trip to Singapore :) As being a poor student I couldn't afford to fly down so my other alternative was to take the bus. I took bus Konsortium (sounds like a character from TRON :D) which wasn't that bad. Comfy seats with tv :3 They stopped every few hours for people that had to go to the restroom. The only thing I didn't like was the long bus ride. Guess what, 11 hours just to reach Singapore T.T That's almost 24 hours to and fro!

First night there I met up with my darling :) She took me to eat near Bugis junction. We had dinner at MOS burger and played a round of DDR X3. I was fascinated by almost everything o________o expecially the MRT. Gosh they need one of those in Penang.

Second day, Kara took me to SUTD with the help of google map. Thank you darling :D the campus is nice but it was very quiet. The semester hasn't started yet. We went to Takashimaya afterwards to look at the Japanese book shop "Kinokuniya" :) There were literally so many things I wanted to buy!

Had dinner with Kara's friends from Raffles :) and took the night bus back to Penang. Good trip but I wish I had more money for shopping. Its hard to resist temptation when everything around you is so want-able :D I miss my darling so much! Can't wait to see her soon ^^

Lion dance

Chinese new year isn't complete without a traditional lion dance :D dance more and bring us more luck!

Apparently it's good luck to touch the lion while they dance, right? *asks all the true Chinese out there* (for those who do not know, I'm half Chinese) I secretly poked the lions belly as it walked away :) hehe

NGOMS. I didn't expect it to zoom pass me.

The oranges on the floor describe some Chinese characters. Again, I'm gnna ask the true Chinese people out there for help. I don't remember learning those in my mandarin class! Anyways, we gotta admire their orange peeling skills.. 10 oranges peeled in 2 minutes :D hahaha.

This is my belated Chinese New Year post :) GONG XI FA CHAI to all of my Chinese friends / relatives / teachers out there! This year is the year of the mighty dragon :D rawrrr. Dragons are the free spirits of the zodiac. An extroverted bundle of energy, gifted and utterly irrepressible, everything dragons do is on a grand scale- big ideas, ornate gestures, extreme ambitions. Cool eh? d: so guys remember to be BIG this year. 2012 is everything about being BIG.

I've been blogging since April 2009. It has been almost 3 years since I've had this blog :') I am planning to continue blogging in the future too. It's a place for me to share a part of my life. Don't question my lack of blog posts though x) I was very busy with college last year! Oh and.. I've deleted about 100 posts from early 2009. I had a different blog format before so it doesn't go well with my new format *sobs* So my NEW goal is to post at least 200 posts this year (100 to make up for those that I've deleted)

Helloooo there :) How have you been doing? Hope you guys are having a lovely new year. In Japan, you get a white packet with money inside just like ang paus during Chinese new year. Unfortunately for me all of my relatives are in Japan so I will not be getting any white packets x) although I got some extra food money from my parents. Yay

On this post I would like to wish two important people good luck. Those two people are my dad and kikikaze. My dad is going back to Japan for a major operation. It's just that my dad is the healthiest person I've ever seen. So I was quite shocked when I heard about his body condition. Anyhow, he told me not to worry and focus on my dreams so I will do as he says. See you in a few months dad! Gambatte!

Secondly, my dearest girlfriend :) Singapore is somewhere you've never lived before, somewhere you have not so many friends (YET :D ) but it is also a place with one of the best education system. So study hard and whenever you feel home sick just read the messages in the jar okay? I will be visiting you very soon ^^

A Happy New Year to all my viewers! :) Have you made your new years resolution? I have and I'm not going to share it here but I've promised myself to try harder than last year (yea, one of my aims) ;) Success is not an option but a must! I hope that I can be a better person to my parents and my girlfriend :D

Anyways, Kara has left for Singapore yesterday morning. She is starting college in a few days. One day in the near future, she will be a world known internet hacker LOL KIDDING! She's gonna be the person who stops people from hacking. My girlfriend is growing up :') *tears of joy*

Eh? What about me? My A-level results will be released on the 23rd of January. Dooms day.. I mean, I hope I can get good results :( I'll be applying for uni after getting my results. Singapore please accept me! I'll be a good boy and do my best!

Bad hair day today. I'm still waiting for a streak of good hair days once in a while d: that way i don't have to be so vain. Maybe I should straighten my hair once again or cut it extremely short so that there won't be any hair to worry about XD

While I was busy being vain, Penang is starting to show some Christmas spirit :) this is the season where you hear Christmas related songs at whichever mall you go, see overcrowding gift shops with people buying presents, restaurants starting to put up Christmas special menus such as nom-licious roasted turkey *drool*

Christmas could be one of my favorite festivals of the year. I'm not christian but that doesn't stop me from having fun! :D Plus I am so prepared this year that I've started to wrap presents since last month. Lots of money was spent but it's totally worth it to see my loved ones happy.

The Muppets: my movie review

Even though I am a child of the 90's, I have never watched The Muppets when I was small. So, needless to say that I was excited to watch The Muppets, their first theatrical release in over a decade :D

The plot is simple: Gary (Jason Segel, fans of himym would know him ;D) and his brother Walter, a puppet, have been lifelong fans of the Muppets. They set off a trip to Los Angeles with Gary's girlfriend, Amy Adams. When they discovered that an evil Texas millionaire (played by Chris Cooper) wants to destroy the Muppet theatre to drill for oil, they help Kermit to rally the gang together and put on a show to save their theatre.

The film has some silly references to the fact that you're watching a movie, such as their use of "travelling by map" to cover long distances. But despite this, there were no jokes made about the fact that the Muppets are, well, puppets. The characters are working outside and nobody seems to question that Jason has a puppet for a brother XD.

Overall it was a good movie :) I watched it with my kikikaze. If you were looking for a film that was funny, The Muppets was well written and had a good acting by a couple of familiar faces.

So has anyone seen the lunar eclipse recently? :O

Hair Cut!

I had a haircut yesterday so my hair is super duper short at the moment! It feels like I've lost a few kilos of precious hair ): to those who don't believe me you can ask kikikaze cause she agrees that my hair is really short now.

Anyways, I spent my Saturday by hanging out at first avenue. We saw a new outlet for brands outlet which had TONS of cool stuff (but of course, we didn't have enough money to buy anything) sucks to be teenagers with no money XD. After a long day of shopping and walking around we had a lovely dinner at asian bbq.

Well yesterday was a fun day. I had another baking session with my beloved kikikaze and we decided to make some cheese cake :) We've baked so many things so far. Mouth watering chocolate cake with mint filling, pancakes with golden syrup, light and fluffy brownies, giant chocolate chip cookies etc. I bet you're drooling while reading this! I was thinking of posting a picture of our final product but unfortunately it's in my girlfriend's camera so I don't have it at the moment. Although I found a picture on google which is similar to what we made.

tadaaah! Yeap, we totally made something like this. looks good huh? If you need any cakes for parties/weddings just call me or my girlfriend up ;)

Hello, blogger. it's been a while. it feels like decades since i've been on here. you can tell from my previous post (i haven't been blogging since chinese new year LOL). the truth is i've been very veryyyyy busy with my a-level exams. what can i say, it was the most stressful time of the year D: but it's all over now. it's OVERRRRRRRR 8D time to start ticking my after-exam-to-do-list haha!

so me and kikikaze hung out yesterday ❤ :) she is my stress reliever hehe. we met up for lunch, watched a movie and had a lovely dinner together. she bought me aviatorsss. and bought herself shoes,clothes,earrings gosh such a shopaholic jks XD. the best part was that we didn't have to feel guilty for not studying at all :D

ah i HAD to upload this photo to let you know that 'salmon' sushi roll from sushi king isn't really salmon. they use sausages that has the same color as salmon. what the **** right? D: they could fool a local customer but not me! LOL.

So our 15th anniversary was memorable :) we baked chocolate cake! one of those things every couple must do together :D LOL although it was harder than i thought.. the cake kinda exploded halfway (i guess the oven was too hot) D: so we had to make the icing to cover the top up. and guess what it was really good! just like heaven having sex in my mouth *chomp* :D LOL. we had dinner at golden sands the next night. it was romantic right darling? with our mini dares shh ❤ ;)

but something reminded me of it last night and i just NEED to put it up again.

IAG camp 2009 the best camp everrr :D
it’s only been a day but i miss it so damn much ):
~~even if I had to sleep at 2 and wake up at 6~~ damn sparta LOL.

so basically what we did was learn stuff. LOL.
how to score straight A's, how to be sucessful and blah blah (:
